Christopherson Studio

William Christopherson's  interest in drawing and painting  began in the early years of elementary schooling in Central New York,  where he was a standout artistic student.

During  his working career  Christopherson pursued his passion for art as a pasttime, earning awards at many artist juried  competitions for his unique style of historical landscapes and  seascape watercolors.

He now creates vibrant oil and acrylic original artworks that have earned many awards, and are sought by collectors from throuhout the US and overseas. 

William loves to paint outdoors "Au Plein Aire, and  travels to places such as  Maine, Florida, the Adirondacks, and even Santorini, Greece to find the ultimate painting experience.

In 2008,  he was selected as a Premier Portfolio Artist for Absolute Art.com, one of the largest on-line art maketing organizations in the world.  It is a priveledge to be recognized  at this level in the worldwide art community.

He is a founding member of the Arts Association of Northern New York  formed  in 2000,  based in Sackets Harbor, New York, serving as President from 2004-2009. 

William maintains his gallery and studio in Watertown, New York.
